Wood is an inspirational material to work with. No two pieces of wood are the same and it is constantly evolving due to changes in moisture content or the relaxing of stresses in the wood built up while it was growing. ​

 

Working with this living material, I try to reveal the flows of grain, texture and colour hidden within the wood. Using flowing lines and curves inspired by natural forms, the end results are unique pieces which take on  a new lease of life.
